Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
CRM Data Analyst
to support data reconciliation and enrichment initiatives. In this role, you will work with external datasets and CRM records to produce accurate, clean, and structured data ready for upload. You’ll leverage advanced Excel techniques, structured logic, and clear documentation to ensure repeatable and auditable processes.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and working with imperfect datasets to deliver reliable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and match external datasets with CRM records to identify accurate relationships
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) and Power Query to automate matching processes
- Apply logical judgment to resolve ambiguous or incomplete data scenarios
- Validate results using supporting data fields to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Document matching logic, business rules, and assumptions for auditability and repeatability
- Prepare final, enriched datasets for CRM import with clear audit trails
- Maintain CRM data hygiene, ensuring completeness, consistency, and quality standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data processes and improve efficiency
Core Technical Skills
Required
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data reconciliation, or similar roles
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, fuzzy matching)
- Strong experience with data reconciliation, deduplication, and data quality validation
- Ability to document processes, rules, and logic clearly for repeatability
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Understanding of data quality management principles
- Experience working with datasets in the asset/wealth management or financial services sector
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Preferred
- Experience in Canadian financial services or wealth management environments
- Exposure to CRM data migration or data cleanup projects
Nice to Have
- Basic scripting in Python (pandas)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach to tasks
Education
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems)
