Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Location: CA , Remote

Preferred working hours: PST (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer with strong Salesforce expertise and a solid understanding of DevOps practices. This role will primarily focus on managing and promoting Salesforce configurations and code through the pipeline using Copado.

The ideal candidate will have a Salesforce background, familiarity with CI/CD processes, and the ability to work in an Agile environment. While direct Copado experience is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate with strong foundational knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Salesforce deployments using
Copado
as the primary pipeline management tool
- Move configurations and code across environments in a controlled DevOps pipeline
- Review and validate Jira stories to ensure developers have submitted correct components
- Create and manage deployment stories in Copado
- Ensure proper DevOps processes, checks, and balances are followed before promoting changes
- Collaborate with development and analyst teams to maintain pipeline integrity
- Perform Salesforce configuration and navigation tasks as needed
- Support Agile processes including sprint planning and quarterly planning sessions

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in Salesforce (SFDC)
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and environment management
• Understanding of DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipeline management
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and DevOps workflows
• Ability to analyze and interpret Jira stories and deployment requirements
• Willingness to learn new tools (including Copado) and adapt to processes
• Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certification (nice to have, not mandatory)
• Experience with Copado or similar DevOps tools
• Previous experience in Agile environments
• Background in Salesforce configuration analysis or related roles
