Role summary

This hybrid role in Toronto seeks a Generative AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/LLM solutions for enterprise environments. The engineer will design scalable generative AI applications to drive automation, enhance decision-making, and improve user experiences. Key responsibilities include developing applications using Generative AI and LLM frameworks, working with tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain, building RAG pipelines and agent-based solutions, integrating AI components, and optimizing models for production. Collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions is also essential.

Generative AI Developer

Location: Toronto

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/LLM-based solutions in enterprise environments. You will be working on designing scalable generative AI applications that drive automation, enhance decision-making, and improve user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications using Generative AI and LLM frameworks
  • Work with tools such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain
  • Build and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and agent-based solutions
  • Integrate AI components into existing enterprise systems
  • Optimize models for performance, scalability, and production readiness
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain)
  • Experience with Prompt Engineering and LLM-based application development
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RAG and agentic frameworks
  • Exposure to Azure AI Services
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for model deployment
