
QA Test Engineer
Role summary
DMI is seeking a QA Test Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise applications for a federal customer. The role involves developing and executing manual and automated test scripts, including functional, regression, and system integration testing. Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and stakeholders, analyzing requirements, documenting defects, tracking issues in Jira, and ensuring Section 508 compliance and secure, high-quality deliverables. The position requires proficiency in SQL, experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, familiarity with API testing (REST, SOAP), and experience with DevOps tools and cloud environments (AWS/Azure). A Public Trust clearance and U.S. Citizenship are mandatory.

About The Opportunity
The QA Test Engineer within Application Development under the Infrastructure Services Line of Business is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise applications. Will develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts—including functional, regression, and system integration testing—to validate software functionality against strict agency standards and user requirements
Candidate will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, document defects, track issues in Jira, and ensure Section 508 compliance and secure, high-quality deliverable for the federal customer.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for backend database validation.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, JMeter).
- Familiarity with API testing (REST, SOAP).
- Prefer ISTQB Certification (International Software Testing Qualifications Board).
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility testing tools
Clearance Requirements:
Successful completion of a government security screening and/or a Secret Clearance
Background Requirements:
Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
Citizenship Status Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
