Role summary
DRW, a diversified trading firm, seeks a Senior Regulatory Counsel for its cryptoasset arm, Cumberland. This role, based in Chicago or Washington D.C., involves providing legal and regulatory advice on cryptoasset and TradFi matters, driving strategic initiatives, and engaging with policymakers. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in financial laws and regulations, particularly SEC and CFTC, with a strong understanding of U.S. cryptoasset regulatory regimes. Experience with non-U.S. regulations and policy advocacy is a plus. The role requires independent work in a fast-paced environment and strong collaboration skills.

We are currently seeking a Senior Regulatory Counsel to join our global legal team and work on a wide variety of regulatory and strategic matters. This role will be located in either Chicago or Washington D.C. Candidates from other U.S. locations may also be considered, depending on experience.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $275,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
