Senior Mission Critical Facilities Engineer
Role summary
DRW, a diversified trading firm, seeks a Senior Mission Critical Facilities Engineer to maintain and support MEP critical infrastructure for their global data centers and offices. Responsibilities include managing preventative maintenance, responding to alarms and breakdowns, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the continual operation of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The role requires hands-on data center experience, particularly with Power Distribution Systems, UPS Systems, and HVAC/mechanical systems, with basic knowledge of fire alarm and monitoring systems preferred. This hybrid role is based in Chicago and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

In Data Center Engineering/Mission Critical Facilities, along with being a part of the DCE team, we maintain and support MEP critical infrastructure related to our in-house data centers and offices globally. We ensure the continual operation of all Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Monitoring and Alarm equipment critical to DRW facilities. This includes managing a preventative maintenance program for all equipment, responding to alarms and break downs, scheduling and supporting equipment repairs and changes, and working in conjunction with vendors and building engineering departments.

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
