Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cellular Engineer role based in Richmond, BC. The Cellular Engineer will design, develop, and optimize cellular module solutions for automotive and IoT applications. Responsibilities include conducting hardware and software performance assessments, troubleshooting connectivity issues, developing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance with global standards. The role also encompasses analyzing technology trends and contributing to the development of innovative connectivity solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cellular technologies such as LTE, 5G, and IoT connectivity.
  • Proficiency in software design, RF testing, and troubleshooting cellular modules.
  • Strong knowledge of cellular standards, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, firmware development, and software debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and proficiency in technical documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and support project milestones.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience in automotive or IoT industries is an advantage.
  • Experience with Qualcomm tool QXDM

Pay: $56,860.54-$142,508.77 per year
