Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Denver, CO for a Backend Engineer. The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. Day-to-day tasks include implementing APIs, optimizing database operations, ensuring system security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support front-end and overall app functionality. The role will also involve troubleshooting issues, enhancing system performance, and contributing to overall software architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Familiarity with Front-End Development and basic programming concepts
• Experience with database design and optimization
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience working in the education technology sector is a plus
