Role summary

Element is seeking a Test Engineer Intern to assist with product qualification testing. Responsibilities include test development, setup, troubleshooting, fixture preparation, testing, and reporting. This internship offers hands-on experience in the engineering process within a laboratory setting. Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Test Engineer Intern. In this role, you will work with engineers and technicians to perform daily tasks related to product qualification testing including test development, setup, troubleshooting, fixture preparation, testing, and reporting. This opportunity will give you invaluable on the job experience and exposure to the hands-on engineering process.
Salary: $21- $23/hr DOE
Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of test setups and fixturing
  • Prepare and evaluate samples for testing
  • Interpret data, review, and report testing results
  • Assist testing engineers with tasks as needed

Skills / Qualifications

  • Working toward a Bachelor's or Associate degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and participate in testing within a laboratory setting
