Role summary

ELEVI is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer for their team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role requires a current or active security clearance with polygraph. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems, often involving processing-intensive analytics, large datasets, and real-time systems. Responsibilities include working with a team to gather information, create monitoring tools, and reviewing/testing software components. The role emphasizes utilizing corporate authentication services into secure full-stack solutions within the AWS cloud, integrating data from multiple sources, and employing CI/CD practices. Experience with Agile environments, Jira, and Confluence is essential.

In order to join the ELEVI team you will need

  • You must be willing to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD
  • A CURRENT OR ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH POLY IS REQUIRED.
  • Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5)+ years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Required Skills/Experience:• Java and JavaScript• Python• Agile software environment• Experience utilizing corporate authentication services into a secure full stack solution• Experience delivering full stack solutions within AWS cloud, utilizing API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Aurora PostgreSQL.• Familiar with designing and implementing caching services for web applications.• Multi-source Data Integration to fetch and package data from different sources.• CI/CD Orchestration (Jenkins, Github, CodePipeline)• Artifact State Management.• Jira and Confluence.
  • Desired skills/Experience:• Knowledge of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS• PostgreSQL, DynamoDB• DevOps and CI/CD Automation• Angular / Vue
  • Some of the day-to-day activities

  • Work with a team to gather information and design/create/configure tools for monitoring.
  • Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
  • Works individually or as part of a team.
  • Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
  • Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
  • Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade- offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
  • Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $185,400 - $205,000
