Role summary

ELEVI is seeking a Jr Level Software Developer with 7+ years of experience and a current security clearance with a polygraph. The role involves developing and modernizing front-end data processing services for a mission-critical tool supporting national security systems. Responsibilities include working with a dynamic team to explore new technologies, prototype tools, and develop algorithms. Required skills include Java, JavaScript, Python, Agile, full-stack development, microservices, ETL, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Jira. Preferred skills include AWS, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Go, Rust, C++, Vue, and specific data storage technologies.

In Order to Join the ELEVI Team you will need:

  • You must have a current or active security clearance with a poly.
  • Possess Seven (7) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Required Skills/Experience:• Java and JavaScript• Python• Agile software environment• Experience utilizing corporate authentication services into a secure full stack solution• Experience delivering full stack solutions with large data sets• Experience with developing in a micro-services framework• Familiar with design and implementation of local caching services• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)• Docker & Docker Compose• Kubernetes• Jenkins• Github and Gitlab• Jira and Confluence
  • Desired skills/Experience:• Knowledge of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS• PostgreSQL / Nosql• Go, Rust, and/or C++• Lib development• Vue• MinIO, Clickhouse, Graphite
  • Some of the day-to-day activities:

  • The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for a mission critical tool.
  • The individual will also support the modernization of the front end processing services.
  • Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
  • The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
  • The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.

    Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     $94,400 - $144,300
