We are seeking an experienced Web Administrator/Web Developer who will be responsible for the website, who is proficient in creating and editing website content, specifically a UI/UX developer in Shopify platform. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in Ecommerce, Shopify, JavaScript (Liquid), HTML, CSS, Python and an overall understanding of internet marketing. We're looking for an individual who can work closely with the IT Manager to build and transform the company’s ecommerce website to create compelling content and online advertising campaigns.
Duties
Shopify website administration.
Replicate, backup the website.
Deploy changes in theme, code and interface in Development and Production environments.
Conduct system tests and UAT of changes in the website.
Add data fields and data in Shopify.
Add and modify web pages. Modify layout of web pages. Create/edit collection pages in Shopify.
Add text and image contents to web pages.
Upload data and images to the website.
Understand and edit filters in Shopify.
Understand and edit python scripts.
Create and edit python scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
Evaluate/edit web design for device compatibility.
Adhere to best practices for web accessibility, usability, and internationalization.
Advise strengths and shortcomings of present designs.
Work with stakeholders to define/implement design requirements.
Provide recommendations for improving designs based on current market trends.
