Data Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization, database management, and analytical tools to transform raw data into actionable business insights. Duties

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to visualize key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and optimize databases with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design best practices.
• Support project management activities within Agile frameworks and SDLC methodologies to ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Automate data processing tasks using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages to improve efficiency.
• Document processes and workflows clearly for ongoing maintenance and scalability of analytics systems.

Skills

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Visio.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with programming languages R and Python for statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
• Expertise in business analysis, database design, and analytics best practices.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of VBA scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience working with Bash (Unix shell) scripting environments.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret large datasets accurately. This position is integral to supporting our organization’s strategic initiatives through comprehensive data analysis and visualization expertise. Candidates should possess a strong technical background combined with excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights across teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.94-$59.39 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
