Data Analyst

Our client is an American Industrial Manufacturing company operating on a global basis. Fantastic opportunities exist for Data Analysts to join their manufacturing team. Position Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support data-driven decision-making across the plant. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, data visualization, and statistical analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Collect and analyze production data from various sources (e.g., ERP systems, sensors, quality control systems).
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, downtime, throughput, and scrap rates.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to implement data-driven solutions.
• Automate data collection and reporting processes where possible.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
