Role summary

Ellipsis Labs is seeking new graduate Software Engineers to join their early-stage startup. This role involves building real product features and platform components across the full stack, from front-end to on-chain systems. Engineers will own projects end-to-end, including problem definition, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. The position requires strong CS fundamentals, proficiency in at least one programming language (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Rust, Java, C/C++), and familiarity with Git. Experience in areas like full-stack web, backend APIs, infrastructure/DevOps, or on-chain systems is preferred, as is an interest in DeFi/crypto and fintech/trading. The company emphasizes rapid iteration and shipping quickly.

### Who you are
- Hands-on experience building software (courses, personal projects, research, or internships) in one or more languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Rust, Java, C/C++; you write clear, tested code
- Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems thinking) and familiarity with Git and basic debugging
- Ability to make informed trade-offs with business context; high agency and a team-first mindset
- Curiosity about DeFi/crypto (prior domain experience not required)
- Experience in one or more areas: full-stack web (React/Javascript), backend APIs/services, infrastructure/DevOps (Docker, CI/CD, cloud), or on-chain/low-level systems
- Familiarity with blockchain technology (Solana a plus)
- Interest or experience in fintech/trading
- Rust or TypeScript proficiency
