JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position designs, develops, tests and implements business application solutions demonstrated proficiency using a variety of tools and technologies. The scope of the applications will vary in size and complexity from department level to enterprise wide and may be internally focused within Andersen Corporation or externally focused to support a variety of customer channels. Able to lead small development teams.
This individual is recognized as an industry expert with demonstrated expertise in implementing a variety of strategic tools and technologies. This position evaluates, recommends, implements, and supports technologies that are strategic and innovative to meeting enterprise objectives. This individual will have the ability to lead small teams in innovative, complex technical efforts while developing the expertise of others.

- Consult with Product Owners, Account Managers and IT Architects in the design phase of high complexity projects to leverage technology and provide implementation recommendations and accurate estimates to support business process improvements
- Consult with Account Managers IT Architects, Business Customers and IT Vendors in the selection and design of high complexity, innovative and transformative projects to provide technology recommendations to support critical business process improvements
- Responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of high complexity assignments
- Responsible for the technical recommendation, design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of high complexity, innovative and transformative projects
- Coordinate and assist with the deployment of applications into the production environment
- Coordinate and assist with the development of deployment strategies for the implementation of applications into the production environment
- Completes comprehensive unit, system and performance testing of application that includes its components and interfaces. Assists less experience Software Engineers in the test plan development, execution and validation
- Design and execute comprehensive technical integration and performance testing of application that includes its components and interfaces. Assists less experience Software Engineers in the test plan development, execution and validation
- Participate in the definition and adherence to design, development and testing methods and techniques that meet corporate IT standards. Responsible for code reviews of other team members.

- Work with IT infrastructure staff and PMO staff to ensure the successful delivery of the application

- Adhere to Agile practices and other PMO or Team project methodology.
- Independently estimate the design, development, testing and deployment of high complexity assignments and meet the estimated time for delivery.
- Independently and/or through leading small technical teams estimate the design, development, testing and deployment of high complexity, innovative and transformative projects that meet the estimated time for delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with business customers, project leaders, Architects and account managers
- Develop and maintain relationships with business customers, project leaders, Architects, account managers and critical IT Vendors
- Support other Software Engineers on technical issues and assisting with their development efforts

- Research and develop skills in new technologies
- Develop and provide end user training and application support
- May regularly coach other team members (internal and contractor), or plan work for others to meet project deadlines. Has no direct reports or staff responsibilities with respect to providing career development, training opportunities and conducting performance evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of development experience with a variety of leading-edge development languages and platforms
- Familiar with a variety of application development methodologies including SDLC, Agile and Scrum
- Experience developing web applications that are customer facing
- Good understanding and experience with database technologies including SQL and Oracle
- Able to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrated working with Sr. Software Engineer and management to communicate knowledge, ideas and opinions while providing technical direction to individuals to ensure development best practices are being followed and project milestones are being met

PAY RANGE:
$91,059.00 - $141,141.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
