Your Main Responsibilities

• Analyze the financial aspects of projects and interpret the results.
• Ensure that revenue recognition complies with applicable accounting standards
• Prepare periodic management reports to measure the financial performance of projects and the team's operational efficiency
• Work closely with the Controller to report performance to management
• Conduct monthly variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets , identifying underlying causes
• Support the Controller and project managers in preparing various analyses
• Collaborate with the billing team to obtain visibility into the financial health of projects
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month end close process
• Monitor timesheet submissions on a weekly basis and follow up for submission as required
• review and approve expense claims, making corrections and rejecting when necessary
• Perform any other tasks assigned by Controller
• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules

What Makes You Unique

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Preference for those with CPA designation or in process of obtaining a CPA designation
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of IFRS 15, IAS 1, IAS 37
• Proficiency in excel
• Team oriented with a strong focus on collaboration, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of Vantage Point- Deltek ERP software is an asset
• Experience working in accounting in a service based industry is an asset.
