Role summary
Enyuare is seeking a UX/UI Designer & Front-End Developer with React expertise to create user-facing software for advanced robotic systems. This hybrid role requires defining intuitive user experiences and implementing polished front-end applications. The individual will collaborate with engineers to translate complex system capabilities into clear workflows and modern interfaces. Initially a part-time hourly position, it is expected to transition to full-time. The role involves both UX/UI design and hands-on React development for operator, engineer, and mission planner applications within the robotics, AI, and sensor networks domain.

Summary
Enyuare is seeking a UX/UI Designer & Front-End Developer (React) to help define and build user-facing software for advanced robotic systems. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who can both design intuitive user experiences and implement polished front-end applications.
You will work closely with robotics and software engineers to translate complex system capabilities into clear workflows, modern interfaces, and production-quality front-end software. The role includes both user experience design and hands-on development in React, with a focus on applications used by operators, engineers, and mission planners.
This is initially a part-time hourly role, with the expectation that it will transition into a full-time position as the project grows.

Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing software workflows, user interfaces, or product experiences using standard design tools such as Figma.
- Experience developing front-end applications using frameworks such as React.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and front-end implementation.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices.
- Ability to move effectively between design concepts and implementation details.
- Working knowledge of using AI tools to assist with design, development, review, and productivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and building interfaces for robotics, autonomous systems, industrial systems, or other complex technical software.
- Experience working on defense or government user workflows.
- Familiarity with human-machine interface (HMI) design for real-time systems.
- Experience with data visualization, operational dashboards, or command-and-control style interfaces.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams that include hardware, robotics, and software engineering.
- Familiarity with component libraries, design systems, and front-end architecture best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing interfaces for robotics, autonomous systems, or complex technical software.
- Experience working on defense or government projects.
- Familiarity with human-machine interface (HMI) design for real-time systems.
- Experience with data visualization or operational dashboards.
