ILS Engineer/Test Engineer
Role summary
This role is for an ILS Engineer/Test Engineer responsible for reviewing production data for accuracy and compliance, and creating, controlling, and revising ILS and technical documentation. The position requires 1-3 years of experience in technical writing, electrical test, or data review, preferably for military applications. Candidates must possess strong analytical abilities, be skilled with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat, and be able to read electrical schematics and block diagrams. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred, and knowledge of automatic testing equipment and AutoCAD skills are a plus. The role is onsite with a base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 USD annually.

Required Skills
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- 1–3 years' experience in technical writing, electrical test and/or data review, preferably for military applications
- Strong analytical abilities to conduct data reviews from test results
- Skilled with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Good organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read electrical schematics and block diagrams
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of automatic testing equipment
- AutoCAD skills a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer workstation for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).
- Occasional walking through manufacturing areas, including exposure to moderate noise, machinery, and tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., parts, technical documentation, or test equipment).
- Fine motor skills for handling small components and conducting detailed inspections or lab-based work.
- Visual acuity to read detailed schematics, datasheets, and conduct component-level reviews or inspections.
Compensation Information
Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD (Annually)
Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
