A leading foundational AI lab seeks experienced Senior or Staff Software Engineers with 5+ years in banking and financial infrastructure to train their latest language model. This flexible, part-time (5-20 hrs/week), fully remote role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated work on core financial systems engineering tasks. Key responsibilities include core banking system architecture, ledger and settlement system design, data pipeline and reconciliation design, high-availability system patterns, and technical documentation for large-scale financial infrastructure. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in high-availability system design, data integrity, and large-scale financial data pipelines, with a background in top banks or fintech companies.
Note: This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that is 5-20 hours per week at $105 per hour (up to $2.1k/week). It can be done remotely and can be done both alongside or instead of full-time employment.
We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced software engineers with a banking and financial infrastructure background who can help train their latest language model on core financial systems engineering tasks.
We're looking for senior and staff engineers with 5+ years of experience building or maintaining the large-scale infrastructure that underpins financial institutions: core banking systems, settlement and clearing infrastructure, ledger systems, and the data pipelines that connect them. You have worked in environments where uptime is measured in fractions of a percent, where data integrity is non-negotiable, and where changes go through more scrutiny than almost anywhere else in software engineering.
You'll create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated work across core financial infrastructure engineering workflows: core banking system architecture, ledger and settlement system design, data pipeline and reconciliation design, high-availability system patterns for financial environments, and technical documentation for large-scale financial infrastructure.
Compensation:
$105/hour
