Role summary

Everfi is seeking a mission-driven Senior Product Manager to shape and execute the strategy for its K–12 product portfolio. This 100% remote role focuses on evolving digital learning experiences into measurable outcomes, driving student engagement, completion, and real-world opportunities. The ideal candidate will leverage AI-informed approaches in product development, align products with curriculum standards, and ensure compliance with student data privacy regulations like FERPA and COPPA. Responsibilities include owning the product roadmap, conducting user research, and leading the product lifecycle using agile methodologies. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of product management experience in EdTech or a related field are required.

In this role, you will work to evolve K–12 learning experiences into measurable outcomes — driving student engagement, completion, and real-world opportunity across diverse classrooms. This is a role for someone who cares deeply about students, thinks in systems, and is excited to bring AI-informed approaches to education product development.

Senior Product Manager Compensation and Benefits

$120,000- $145,000 depending on experience and location. Everfi may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.

Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Own and evolve the product roadmap for K–12 offerings, with a clear connection between feature decisions and measurable learning outcomes — including engagement, completion, and access to real-world opportunities
  • Build products that align with curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS, state standards) while remaining flexible enough to serve the varied needs of districts, schools, and individual learners
  • Design platform and product experiences that serve multiple audiences — students, teachers, and school or district administrators — with an understanding of each group's distinct workflows and success criteria

AI-Informed Product Development

  • Incorporate AI tools into your product development workflow — including content creation, personalization concepts, and engagement strategies — with a willingness to learn, experiment, and iterate as the toolset evolves
  • Explore and apply intelligent engagement approaches that surface the right content or encouragement to learners at the right moment, reducing drop-off and supporting sustained participation
  • Stay current on AI trends in EdTech and bring informed perspectives to the team on where and how AI can meaningfully improve learning experiences

Data, Outcomes & Compliance

  • Define success metrics for product features, ensuring decisions are grounded in student performance, engagement, and completion data. Collaborate with data products team, defining features that connect learning to measurable outcomes
  • Support data models that enable cross-product reporting, giving teachers, districts, and partners a clear view of learner progress and program performance
  • Maintain familiarity with student data privacy requirements, including FERPA and COPPA, and ensure product decisions reflect compliance obligations

Execution & Collaboration

  • Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration, using agile methodologies throughout
  • Conduct user research with educators and students — including classroom observation and usability testing — to keep product decisions grounded in real-world experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in EdTech, SaaS, consumer technology, or an adjacent field
  • Experience delivering user-centered, data-informed products with clear outcome metrics
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a demonstrated willingness to apply them in product or content workflows — hands-on deployment experience is a plus, but curiosity and learning agility are equally valued
  • Experience working in agile development environments with a bias toward iteration and experimentation
  • Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree required
