Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a DevOps Engineer at Excelon Solutions. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), contributing to agile software development cycles, managing continuous integration pipelines, configuring and maintaining system infrastructure, and performing Linux system administration. This role requires active collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and reliable applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
• Experience in Software Development and Continuous Integration processes
• Strong knowledge of System Administration and Linux systems
• Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail and critical thinking
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Experience with performance tuning, deployment strategies, and system monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
