We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive the integration of frontend online banking functionalities with a backend canonical data layer within the credit card domain. This role requires a blend of business acumen and technical strategy, focusing on developing clear product roadmaps, defining user stories, and prioritizing features based on feasibility and business impact. The Product Owner will serve as a key liaison between engineering, data, API, and platform teams, leading decisions on data mapping, canonical models, and service design. Responsibilities include ensuring robust testing, driving timely delivery, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. A strong understanding of credit card lifecycle, API-driven platforms, and basic SQL is essential.

The person must drive an initiative of building and integrating frontend functionalities of online banking with backend canonical data layer. It needs to be a good mix of business knowledge, strategizing technical roadmap, prioritize feature release

Responsibilities:

  • Translate credit‑card business goals into clear product roadmaps and multi‑release plans.
  • Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to business needs and backend data realities.
  • Prioritize features based on technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Act as the primary liaison across engineering, data, API, and platform teams to ensure alignment.
  • Lead decisions on data mapping, canonical models, payload structures, and new service design.
  • Partner with QA to ensure robust backend + UI test coverage.
  • Drive timely delivery across squads and proactively remove dependencies.
  • Track KPIs, monitor performance, and validate releases in production.
  • Communicate clearly with cross‑functional stakeholders to maintain alignment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product ownership experience in digital banking/fintech, with strong credit‑card domain knowledge (lifecycle, rewards, disputes, fraud).
  • Skilled in API‑driven platforms, canonical data models, and working across frontend, backend, and data engineering teams.
  • Strong problem‑solver with an ownership mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to do write basic SQL queries and have understanding of big data
