Our client is seeking a Workplace Operations Analyst. This role supports space planning and facilities operations through accurate data management and reporting. The Analyst partners closely with site planners and facilities teams to track occupancy and workspace utilization. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with Excel-based data and transforming information into actionable insights. Strong collaboration and data accuracy are essential to success in this role.

Location (Locals Only):
Rochester, NY (onsite required with some local travel)
Hourly & Salary Range:
$25-$30/hr W2, $55-65k once converted
Duration:
Contract (4 months) to Hire
What's the Job?

  • Maintain and update workplace and occupancy data, including seating plans and workstation allocations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation checks.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support space optimization decisions.
  • Support site planners with workspace tracking, seating maps, and floor plan documentation.
  • Assist with operational and administrative tasks related to facilities and vendor coordination.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data support, operations, or administrative roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and formulas.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets accurately.
  • Experience with facilities, real estate, or workplace operations is preferred.
