Data Scientist / Generative AI Data Engineer
Role summary
This role is for a Data Scientist / Generative AI Data Engineer who will serve as a hands-on leader, contributing to the development and implementation of AI solutions. The position requires strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and AI/ML libraries, with a proven track record in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI frameworks like CrewAI and LangChain. Proficiency in API development with FastAPI/Flask and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is essential. The role also involves client-facing responsibilities, including building relationships, presenting complex technical concepts to executives, and supporting business development efforts. A hybrid work model is in place for this full-time position.

- Serve as a hands-on leader, actively contributing to the development and implementation of AI solutions as needed to achieve project objectives
- Apply structured problem-solving frameworks and methodologies to design and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with client goals
- Build strong relationships with clients, demonstrating executive presence and professionalism
- Support business development efforts, including proposal creation and sales initiatives
- Identify client needs and opportunities for A&M, leveraging your network to maintain and grow business relationships
- Foster an inclusive and engaging team environment that values collaboration and diverse perspectives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and AI/ML models, in analytics libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciKit-Learn, and PyTorch
- Proven experience developing Generative AI Solutions, including large language model (LLM) based applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
- Experience implementing Agentic AI frameworks, such as CrewAI and LangChain, to build autonomous systems in production settings
- Proficiency in building APIs and backend applications with frameworks like FastAPI and Flask
- Experience deploying solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (e.g. provisioning EC2 instances, creating Azure Bloc containers, etc.)
- Ability to translate and present complex technical concepts to C-suite and executive audiences effectively
- Prior experience in consulting or a comparable client-facing role
Pay: $100,488.90 - $121,018.89 per year
