About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Software Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the development, integration, and testing of mission planning software critical to national defense operations. Your contributions will directly influence the way the Department of Defense conducts mission planning for the next three decades, shaping future defense strategies and ensuring operational effectiveness. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. An active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher is required, demonstrating your eligibility to work on sensitive government projects. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in software development, particularly in application development using C#, .NET, and other programming languages. Experience working within an Agile environment and familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with software development patterns like microservices, REST APIs, and familiarity with front-end technologies such as Typescript, ReactJS, and Redux. Knowledge of mission planning and system architecture design will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring high quality and reliability.
• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and optimization of software products and system integrations to meet operational requirements.
• Assist in documenting and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for various software solutions.
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in establishing and improving software development processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
