About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that support our analytics platforms. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless flow of data across various systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in data engineering, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient data solutions. Qualifications
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable. Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and data warehousing solutions like Redshift or Snowflake is required. Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling principles is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Implement data integration solutions from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain and monitor data infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new data technologies and tools to improve existing processes.
• Document data architecture, pipelines, and workflows for internal reference and compliance purposes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Assist in developing best practices and standards for data engineering within the organization.
