About The Role
The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Associate or Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in either St. Louis, MO, or Daytona Beach, FL. This role is pivotal in provisioning and managing laboratory environments both on-premises and in cloud settings, including Azure and AWS. The successful candidate will orchestrate automated integration testing across multiple program segments, manage deployment mechanisms for physical and virtual systems, and provide actionable insights through data-driven feedback to enhance product stability and performance. Qualifications
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields, along with at least three years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles. Proficiency in provisioning and managing lab environments across on-premises and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS is essential. Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, as well as experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, are required. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, along with an understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include professional certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer, and experience deploying and troubleshooting production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
Responsibilities

  • Design, provision, and maintain scalable lab environments on-premises and in cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Develop and manage automated integration testing workflows that consolidate inputs from multiple program segments, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and timely feedback.
  • Manage and optimize automated deployment pipelines for physical and virtual systems, ensuring reliable and repeatable software delivery processes.
  • Coordinate collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to product stability, performance, and integration issues to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, security, and physical lab personnel to align deployment strategies, testing requirements, and environment configurations.
  • Integrate security best practices into provisioning, deployment, and testing workflows to ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
