Role summary
FinThrive is seeking a Product Owner for their Insurance Discover - Payer team, a key growth area within the Payer market. . This role directly supports the delivery, enhancement, and reliability of Insurance Discover – Payer capabilities that underpin FinThrive’s largest channel partnership and multiple high‑visibility payer engagements.
This position ensures that payer‑driven product initiatives are translated into clear, prioritized, and deliverable work across Product, Engineering, and Operations. By owning backlog execution, delivery coordination, and quality outcomes, the Product Owner directly influences
revenue retention, pipeline conversion, implementation speed, and partner confidence
, all of which are essential to achieving FinThrive’s Strategic Markets growth and operational efficiency objectives.
What you will do
- Own end‑to‑end product execution
for Insurance Discover – Payer initiatives, translating business and partner requirements into well‑defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Drive delivery reliability and velocity
by managing and prioritizing the product backlog in alignment with growth commitments, partner SLAs, and operational capacity
- Lead cross‑functional execution
across Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely delivery of enhancements supporting payer and channel partnerships
- Serve as a primary point of contact
for Operations on Salesforce‑related enhancements and workflow improvements
- Support strategic channel partnerships
by enabling standardized reporting, quality improvements, and scalable delivery models
- Collaborate directly with clients and internal stakeholders
to provide delivery status, incorporate feedback, and set clear expectations on scope and timelines
- Design and maintain UAT and QA automation frameworks
, leveraging tools such as Databricks and Power BI to improve testing efficiency and delivery confidence
- Apply advanced data analysis
using SQL and Excel to assess performance, identify risks, and support data‑driven product decisions
- Lead agile ceremonies
, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- More than 5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or product execution role within a data‑driven or SaaS environment
- Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs and delivering features in an agile development model
- Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for analyzing large datasets and supporting performance tracking
- Experience working with payer data, reporting solutions, or healthcare data platforms
- Hands‑on experience with UAT, QA processes, and automation frameworks
- Proven ability to partner across Product, Engineering, Operations, and client‑facing teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and execution detail
Travel Required:
Minimal (a couple of times per year)
What we would like to see
- Experience within the healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) industry
