Role summary
Five9 is seeking a committed and experienced VoIP Engineer to join its Global Voice Team. This role is crucial for building high-performing, scalable, and resilient mission-critical services for Five9’s next-generation CCaaS voice platform. The engineer will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and future of the voice core solution. Responsibilities include designing and defining Proxy Server architecture, writing clean code and automated tests, and participating in an Agile Scrum team practicing DevOps to ensure service scalability, resilience, and performance in the public cloud. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in VoIP and software development, with deep knowledge of OpenSIPS or Kamailio and real-time communications protocols like SIP and RTP.
