Position Summary

The Office Coordinator is responsible for managing all administrative and communication functions for a small manufacturing facility. This role serves as the central point of coordination between plant operations and corporate headquarters, ensuring efficient office operations, accurate documentation, and effective communication across locations.

Key Responsibilities

Plant & Operational Support

  • Manage and maintain production paperwork, job files, and work orders
  • Process and track shipping/receiving documentation (BOLs, packing slips, invoices)
  • Ensure all records are accurate, organized, and audit-ready
  • Support inventory tracking and data entry as needed

Office & Front Desk Coordination

  • Serve as primary point of contact for visitors, calls, and general inquiries
  • Coordinate internal communications across plant staff
  • Manage office supplies and vendor interactions

Corporate Communication (Key Responsibility)

  • Act as liaison between Lawrenceburg facility and headquarters in Elkhart, IN
  • Coordinate reporting, documentation, and information flow to HQ
  • Support corporate requests for data, compliance, and reporting

Administrative & Reporting Support

  • Prepare reports (production, administrative, or operational as needed)
  • Assist with timekeeping, basic payroll support, or invoice processing
  • Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years administrative or office coordination experience
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel / Office Suite
  • Email and communication tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)

Key Traits

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator (critical for HQ coordination)
  • Comfortable working independently in a small-site environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities across departments

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
