Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Network Security Engineer. The Senior Network Security Engineer will design, implement, and manage secure network architectures and solutions to protect the organization's IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include maintaining network security, responding to potential threats, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Additionally, the role involves monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, executing security protocols, and staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering, with the ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level networks
• Strong expertise in Network Security and Cybersecurity, with experience implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption solutions
• Background in Information Security, including understanding security protocols, risk assessment, and policy development
• Experience with security tools, monitoring systems, and penetration testing frameworks
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus
• Proven ability to analyze and address technical security challenges effectively
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
