Role summary
Forge is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Institutional Private Markets. This strategic role focuses on defining positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for venture capital firms, family offices, and other institutional investors. You will translate complex financial concepts into compelling narratives, influencing product roadmaps and driving supply participation on Forge's platform. Responsibilities include market validation, launch planning, customer insights development, competitive intelligence, and enabling business development. The ideal candidate has 8-10+ years of experience in private markets or financial services, with a strong understanding of B2B product marketing and marketplace dynamics. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days a week in our Soho, NY office.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager who is highly strategic, analytically rigorous, and deeply attuned to the needs of institutional private market participants. In this role, you will own the positioning, messaging, and go to market strategy focused on engaging venture capital firms, family offices, growth equity funds, and other large private company shareholders to unlock liquidity in the world’s most valuable private companies.
You will operate at the intersection of product, capital markets and customer experience, translating complex liquidity structures, market dynamics and regulatory considerations into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with sophisticated institutional audiences. As a core cross-functional partner, you will collaborate closely with product management, capital markets, business development, marketing, communications, compliance and executive leadership to bring new supplyside capabilities and market programs to life.
This role plays a critical part in shaping Forge’s marketplace strategy by leveraging customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform product direction, influence prioritization, and accelerate high quality supply participation across Forge’s private markets platform.
Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in Soho, NY

Qualifications:
For residents of New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors.
