A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 1 year of data management/programming experience are required.

Summary:
The Data Analyst I is a *part time* opportunity at Forward Health Group, that supports the Client Success team by performing data analysis of data across multiple clients and data sources. This role is responsible for producing accurate counts, metrics, and summaries to support client reporting and insights.
The Analyst works with tools such as Excel, SQL, and basic programming languages (e.g., Python or R) to generate outputs including descriptive statistics, trend analyses, and basic visualizations. This role requires close collaboration with the client success team to understand data requirements, ensure data integrity, and deliver clear, actionable results.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques are essential for success in this role.
What You'll Do:
- Perform data analysis and generate reports based on specifications provided by the Client Success team.
- Produce counts, metrics, and summaries from clients’ datasets (e.g., patient populations, clinical measures).
- Identify and investigate, errors, inconsistencies, outliers, and missing data.
- Document and communicate the source and potential impact of data anomalies.
- Perform quality assurance checks on datasets prior to analysis and generating outputs, including validation of accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Ensure all outputs meet defined formatting and requirements outlined by the Client Success team.
- Collaborate with Client Success, Clinical, Data, Administration and Infrastructure teams to fulfill data requests.
- Participate in internal and client-facing meetings as needed to support data analysis efforts.
- Maintain clear documentation of queries, assumptions, and methodologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned .
The Know How's:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
- 1 year of related data management and programming experience required.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in data management, database development, and ETL Programming preferred
- Some technical experience in data management software and programming languages such as Python, R, and MySQL.
- Experience in healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
