Automation Program Manager
Role summary
FII USA, Inc. is seeking an Automation Program Manager to lead automation initiatives and drive efficiency improvements within its L10 Automation Department. This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of automation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, IT, Quality, business units) to design and implement solutions such as RPA and industrial automation systems. The manager will identify opportunities, ensure solutions meet requirements, manage project plans, facilitate testing, oversee change management, and track KPIs. Experience in manufacturing environments and with RPA platforms is preferred. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1-3 years of experience in project management, automation, or process improvement.

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Automation Program Manager to lead automation initiatives and drive efficiency improvements across manufacturing and business operations. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the L10 Automation Department in an office/production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Automation Program Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of automation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement through automation strategies while assisting this L10 Automation Department as needed.
### Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of automation programs and projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for automation initiatives
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, IT, Quality, and business units to align automation strategies with operational goals
- Identify automation opportunities through process analysis, data review, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement automation solutions including RPA, workflow automation, and industrial automation systems
- Ensure automation solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and compliance expectations
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and status reports
- Facilitate testing, validation, and documentation of automation solutions prior to deployment
- Oversee change management efforts including training, communication, and user adoption of new automated processes
- Monitor performance of implemented automation solutions and drive continuous improvements
- Establish and track KPIs related to efficiency, cost savings, productivity, and process reliability
- Support integration of automation systems with MES, ERP, and other manufacturing systems
- Promote automation best practices and support a culture of innovation across the organization
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts related to automation performance and system issues
- Manage multiple automation initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and overall program performance
- Other Duties as assigned
### Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related field required
- 1–3 years of experience in project management, automation, or process improvement
- Strong understanding of automation tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism preferred
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems and manufacturing technologies preferred
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum) preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma training preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data-driven decision making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk in an office and production environment and lift up to 50 pounds
