Creative Services & Product Manager
Role summary
FPS Apparel, a promotional apparel manufacturer with over two decades of experience, seeks a Creative Services & Product Manager to lead its Art Department. This role bridges design concepts and manufacturing readiness, focusing on garment design for success and ensuring material quality and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include managing the design team's workflow and training, governing Tech Pack accuracy for production, sourcing materials, overseeing sample development, and supporting design assets. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Apparel Design or Product Development, expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PLM software, a strong understanding of garment construction and fabric performance, and proven experience managing a creative team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

We are looking for a Creative Services & Product Manager to lead our Art Department and bridge the gap between design concepts and manufacturing readiness. You will be responsible for the "front end" of our production—ensuring that every garment is designed for success and that our materials meet our high standards for quality and cost.
- Art Dept. Leadership: Manage the workflow, distribution, and training of our design team.
- Tech Pack Governance: Lead the review of all Tech Packs for Domestic and Overseas production to ensure 100% accuracy before samples are cut.
- Material Sourcing: Identify, source, and select fabrics and trims for new product lines.
- Sample Oversight: Manage the sample development lifecycle, including pattern tweaks and fit sessions.
- Design Support: Oversee vector art creation, decoration placement, and branding assets.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Apparel Design or Product Development.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PLM software.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric performance.
- Proven experience managing a creative team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
