The Service Desk / Security Analyst provides first- and second-tier technical support to end users while supporting foundational Cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations. This role serves as a key entry point into the organization’s security and identity management functions, offering a structured development path into specialized Cybersecurity and IAM roles. Working under general supervision, the analyst diagnoses and resolves technical incidents, escalates complex issues when necessary, and assists with security administration activities including user access provisioning, identity lifecycle management, and compliance-related processes. The role collaborates closely with IT and security teams to help maintain secure, reliable systems while delivering responsive and effective support to internal users.

What you will be doing:
- Incident/Request Management Process
- Responds to internal customers to resolve their technology problems. This includes first line support for client (PC), network, server, and voice hardware and software.
- Enters and manages Incident and Service Request tickets in ServiceNow (IT Service Management Application).
- Provides technical support related to various computer programs used by Franklin Electric employees across all business functions.
- Provides hardware support for computers, phones, and other technological equipment used by Franklin Electric.
- Performance is measured based on average duration of tickets.
Asset Management Process
- Deploys new PC to end users and trains them in their use.
- Utilizes imaging and deployment tools.
- Uses ServiceNow to maintain and track IT assets and inventories.
Security & Identity Support
- Support Azure Entra access MFA and Access troubleshooting
- Assist Security and IAM teams with user access audits, certifications, and documentation
- Escalate potential security incidents or access anomalies according to defined procedures
- Assist with endpoint security tasks, such as:
- Application whitelisting requests
- USB or privilege exception workflows

What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field (required)
- One to three years of related IT support or technical experience (preferred)
- Entry Level Computer Skills: Active Directory (Preferred), CrowdStrike EDR (Preferred), Security Fundamentals (preferred)
- Advanced Level Computer Skills: Microsoft Operating systems (Required), Microsoft Office Products (Required), SharePoint (Preferred), Adobe Products (Preferred), Apple Products (Preferred), JDE (preferred)
- A+ certification (preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 10% for this position
- Ability to participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including holidays, to provide coverage and support.
