Role summary

Seeking a System Engineer for a PRIME CONTRACT supporting Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of enterprise corporate applications. This role involves providing system engineering support for a Human Resource Applications and Services software development team, acting as a liaison between Government leadership and the development team. Responsibilities include establishing priorities, facilitating agile processes, communicating dependencies, impediments, and risks, and preparing schedule inputs. Requires a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance, a bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience as an SE, or 19 years of experience as an SE in lieu of a degree. Experience with agile methodologies, requirements management, and technical documentation is essential. Desired experience includes Atlassian Suite products and strong project leadership skills.

We are seeking a system engineer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • Provide system engineering support for a Human Resource Applications and Services organization’s software development team.
  • Primary responsibilities will be acting as the direct liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitating agile processes, communicating with team members, the Government and end user customers.
  • The individual will need to work with the technical team and Government leadership to prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks and communicate with Freedom Program Management team.
  • This individual must be willing to tackle challenges and be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • A bachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years' experience as an SE in programs is required. Nineteen (19) years’ experience as an SE may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience as a system engineer on a software development team with diverse skillsets and experience levels
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
  • Experience with requirements management to include working with customers to capture clear definition of done
  • Desired:

  • Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & Managing Jira
  • Strong project leadership skills to include identifying opportunities, risks and communicating with all levels of contractor and Government leadership.
  • The estimated salary range for this position is between $185,000-$215,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
