Summary:
We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who is passionate about building reliable, scalable systems and improving platform performance. In this role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening the reliability and observability of the FreightWise platform, helping us deliver fast, stable, and innovative solutions to our customers.

What you will do:
- Design and implement full-stack observability by evaluating current tools and introducing improved monitoring and metrics solutions
- Lead blameless incident response and post-mortems to continuously improve system reliability
- Mentor engineers in best practices for logging, monitoring, and measuring reliability
- Partner with engineering leadership to define and track KPIs for platform reliability and performance
- Deploy infrastructure updates using Terraform on AWS
- Build POC to demonstrate logging and metrics across different frameworks and languages
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain a high-performance, highly available platform
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Five years of similar experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform is required
- Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
- Experience supporting containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS)
- Ability to troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
- Passion for improving engineering practices and system reliability
