Role summary
Klüber Lubrication, part of the Freudenberg Group, seeks a Regional Chief Technology Officer for its Tyler, TX location. This on-site role involves leading operational functions across multiple production sites, overseeing production, supply chain, procurement, R&D, and overall operational strategy. The CTO will manage functional managers and supervisors, optimize manpower, materials, and machinery, and ensure quality and safety excellence. Key responsibilities include driving operational transformation, enhancing customer and employee experience, and supporting sustainable regional growth in complex, multi-country environments. The ideal candidate possesses an advanced technical degree with 15+ years in operations and 7+ years in senior leadership, with broad experience in production, engineering, supply chain, and P&L ownership, preferably in the pharmaceutical or specialty chemical industry.

# Regional Chief Technology Officer
### Responsibilities
- Regional Operations Leadership: Lead and oversee all operational functions across multiple production sites, ensuring alignment, performance, and strategic execution.
- End‑to‑End Functional Oversight: Direct production, supply chain, procurement, PMO/OPEX, QHSE, MCM/MDM, R&D, and overall operational strategy to drive consistency and excellence.
- Team & Leadership Management: Guide functional managers and front‑line supervisors, building accountability, capability, and high‑performing teams.
- Performance & Efficiency Optimization: Improve the effectiveness of manpower, materials, and machinery while reducing overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budget targets.
- Quality & Safety Excellence: Maintain an unwavering top commitment to quality and safety, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Customer & Employee Experience: Enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen employee engagement to support a positive, high‑performance culture.
- Transformation & Business Growth: Drive operational transformation, elevate operational excellence, and support sustainable regional growth across complex, multi‑country environments.
### Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree with 15+ years in operations and 7+ years in senior leadership (Executive-level or SVP/COO-CTO experience).
- Broad experience in production, engineering, supply chain, and multi-site/multi-country P&L ownership.
- Strong knowledge of process technology and chemical production processes, acquired in pharmaceutical industry or in specialty chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO, IATF, OHAS, Halal/Food Grade,…), HSE compliance, and chemical/pharma process technologies.
- Proven track record leading transformations, operational excellence, and large-scale efficiency programs. Lean/Six Sigma-Black Belt preferred.
- Skilled in process improvement, organizational planning, and clear communication across all levels.
- Experience in global matrix environments, labor relations and M&A, operating regionally and aligned globally.
