Senior Quality Engineer
Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Global Management System (GMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) at the site, ensuring continuous compliance and effectiveness.
• Lead internal system and process audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements), including timely and effective closure of non‑conformities and prevention of recurrence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and global stakeholders to interpret and implement customer‑specific quality and warranty requirements.
• Analyze Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and lead improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve right‑first‑time performance, and support profitability.
• Define and implement new quality strategies, tools, and system improvements to support growth, new business, and evolving market requirements.
• Serve as the site-level quality system expert, providing guidance, influence, and partnership to leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
• 5–7+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Proven experience leading internal audits and driving corrective/preventive actions
• Expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively at all levels
