Responsibilities include designing end-to-end user experiences for complex, data-rich applications, creating wireframes and prototypes, conducting usability testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Director of Product Design
We are seeking a Director of Product Design to help shape and deliver intuitive, high-quality digital experiences within a growing Fintech SaaS organization.
This role will partner closely with product, engineering, and business leadership to define product experiences, guide design strategy, and ensure strong execution across user workflows and interfaces. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable operating in evolving environments, and passionate about building effective, user-centered products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for complex workflows and data-driven products
- Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive user flows and interfaces
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
- Develop and evolve visual design patterns aligned with brand and usability standards
- Design dashboards, portals, and tools for multiple user types
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate insights into design iterations
- Gather feedback on designs and interaction patterns to improve usability
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and well implemented
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand priorities and constraints
- Present design concepts and incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners
- Participate in agile ceremonies as needed
- Facilitate design reviews and collaborative workshops
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in UI/UX or product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
- Experience designing complex, data-rich applications
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
- Experience conducting usability testing and validating design decisions
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
