Role summary
A medical device imaging hardware/software company in Raleigh, NC is seeking a C# Developer/Engineer for a contract-to-permanent, full-time, onsite position. The role involves developing system software, automation routines for testing, and configuring hardware/software based on requirements. Key responsibilities include completing design control documentation, system debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with WPF or WinForms is required, while C++ and IEC 62304 compliance are preferred. The position demands strong organizational, prioritization, planning, and execution skills, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for customer and staff interactions. On-call services and representation at conventions may also be required.
C# Developer / Engineer
needed for a Contract to PERMANENT Full-Time position with a medical device imaging hardware / software company located in Raleigh, NC.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• C# coding
• IEC 62304 - - Medical Device Software Standard - preferred
• WPF OR WinForms
• C++ coding preferred
The Developer / Engineer works independently and collaboratively in the fast-paced development environment to:
• Develop system software based on requirements for existing and new generation products
• Develop automation routines to aid testing, based on requirements.
• Configure hardware and software per requirements and protocols.
• Complete and submit all required design control documentation on time and accurately
• Carry out system debug
• Work closely with cross-functional groups and subject domain experts to support product development.
• Completes assigned training and development courses assigned by management team
• Provide emergency on-call services as needed in partnership with Service and Support.
• Serves as a Representative for conventions and shows
• Must comply with Radiation Safety Policy including the timely replacement of used badges
• Completes the Corrective Actions Policy as prescribed by
• Displays highly developed organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute are key success factors in this position.
• Utilize exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for problem situations with customers and/or staff.
• Other duties as assigned based on business need.
