The Program Manager is the operational lead for Youth Empowerment Programs, responsible for planning, coordination, enrollment, outreach, documentation, and quality assurance. The manager must maintain alignment with organizational policies, contracts, and funding requirements, ensuring a youth-centered approach. Key responsibilities include conducting outreach, managing database records, ensuring facilitator protocol adherence, reviewing session reports, and coordinating assessments and invoices. The role requires strong organizational, data management, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases. Knowledge of trauma-informed and youth-centered practices is essential.
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM MANAGER
*POSITION SUMMARY*
The Program Manager serves as the operational lead for Youth Empowerment Programs, overseeing planning, coordination, enrollment, outreach, documentation, and quality assurance. This role ensures program integrity, compliance, and accurate data tracking while fostering strong relationships and engagements with students, families, facilitators, and community partners—particularly schools. The Program Manager plays a key role in maintaining alignment with organizational policies, contracts, and funding requirements, while ensuring all programming reflects a youth-centered approach.
*RESPONSIBILITES AND SKILLS*
Conduct outreach to current students, parents, recent graduates, and referred peers. Request and document referrals and enrollments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in database systems. Ensure facilitators follow attendance, assessment, and reporting protocols. Distribute syllabi and reinforce program expectations. Review weekly session reports for quality and completeness. Track and ensure timely invoice submissions. Coordinate post-assessments, surveys, and distribution certificates. Attention to detail and compliance, coordinate recruitment outreach. Background in cultural competency and relationship-building and outreach. Time management and accountability. Youth advocacy and engagement. Professional judgment and confidentiality. Team collaboration and leadership support.
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in youth programs, program coordination, or nonprofit program management.
- Experience working with adolescents and families, including high-risk or system-involved youth
- Strong organizational, documentation, and data management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, databases, shared drives, and spreadsheets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and youth-centered practices
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters’ Degree
- Experience collaborating with schools and community partners
- Familiarity with licensing, grant compliance, and audit requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with program databases (e.g., ProCare or similar systems)

Salary Information: $52,850.00 per annum plus benefits.
This is a Full-time, on-site (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and organizational events. Travel to program sites, community events, trainings, and partner organizations is expected
