Role summary

Seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract role in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid work model. The primary responsibility is to lead and execute a migration of existing Azure DevOps infrastructure and pipelines to GitLab. The ideal candidate must have proven experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, and CI/CD pipelines, specifically in migrating from Azure DevOps to GitLab. Experience with GitHub or other version control systems is a plus. Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform is preferred. This role involves managing a large number of projects within Azure DevOps and engaging with opinionated teams to challenge and refine technical approaches.

Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid - Local

Duration: 12 Months

Eligibility: USC, GC, GC-EAD and H4-EAD

Pay Rate: $65-70/hr. on C2C

Job Description:

Must have done an Azure DevOps to GitLab MIGRATION.

Azure DevOps, Azure Certificates

CICD pipelines, migrating from Azure to Gitlab

Azure DevOps --> Gitlab

Azure DevOps (MUST)

Azure Cloud (next)

This DevOps: Kubernetes, Terraform (nice to have)

Wants to speak more than just the pipelines

Have 500 projects in Azure DevOps. Azure Cloud and things as well and Gitlab.

Migration Azure DevOps to Gitlab… Github or others would be great.

The teams that use Azure DevOps are very opiniated, will challenging that rational.
