Role summary

A results-driven Buyer is sought for a fully onsite, full-time position in Irvington, NJ, working Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. The role starts at 55k+ annually, depending on experience. Responsibilities include managing international purchasing from factories in China and India, maintaining knowledge of tariffs and trade compliance, analyzing P&L and sales data for forecasting, optimizing cash flow, identifying housewares trends, sourcing unique products, and collaborating with manufacturers on design and production. International travel (2-3 times/year) is required. Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing with factories in China,India, etc; maintain deep knowledge of current tariffs and trade compliance.
  • Analyze P&L and sales data to develop precise forecasts, ensuring zero product shortages while optimizing cash flow.
  • Identify emerging housewares trends and source unique products to maintain a competitive market advantage.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to differentiate our product lines through innovative design and production methods.
  • Willing to travel internationally 2–3 times per year (all expenses covered).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in international purchasing/sourcing (Housewares preferred).
  • No specific degree required; we value proven industry expertise and a track record of success.
  • Strong financial literacy (P&L analysis) and mastery of overseas logistics.
  • A career-oriented professional eager to grow into leadership within the company.
