Role summary

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in Zscaler and Palo Alto firewalls, as well as VPN/remote access solutions. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in network security engineering, with a strong emphasis on implementation and operations ownership. Responsibilities include managing and supporting Zscaler across all modules, configuring and troubleshooting firewall security controls, engineering and supporting VPN solutions, and providing L3/L4 support for complex security and network issues. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite per week in Edison, NJ. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) and relevant Zscaler certifications are mandatory.

Location: Edison NJ

Job Type: Hybrid | Must be On-Site 3 days a week

Must Have Skills:

Zscaler L3 Network Security (All modules) – strong hands‑on engineering (ZIA/ZPA/ZDX etc.)

Palo Alto L3 Firewall

VPN / Remote Access L3: Zscaler / Palo Alto / SecureLink

Experience Required:

10+ years in Network Security Engineering with implementation + operations ownership

Proven experience handling incidents/changes, upgrades, policy governance, and RCA

Roles & Responsibilities:

Implement, manage, and support Zscaler solutions across all modules in production

Configure/operate/troubleshoot Firewall security controls (Palo Alto preferred)

Engineer and support VPN / secure remote access (Zscaler/Palo Alto/SecureLink preferred)

Provide L3/L4 support for complex security/network issues; drive RCA and preventive actions

Work closely with stakeholders and support hybrid delivery requirements (3 days onsite)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science (or equivalent)

Certifications (Mandatory):

Zscaler certification(s) relevant to network security modules

Palo Alto certification(s) (preferred/required as per demand)

VPN/Network Security certifications – good to have.
