Overall summary
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to work on the Reebok Kids team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong attention to detail. The overall scope of responsibilities include footwear product creation, sample management, creation of selling tools, data analysis and working collaboratively with a cross functional team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy
§ Assist with the creation and line management of the product assortment from conception through sales and distribution
o Inline and SMU business
§ Assist with product briefing, range planning, product reviews and sample confirmation.
§ Maintain data accuracy and integrity of the Flex PLM & Nu Order systems
§ Coordinate with Sr PM to create Go-To-Market strategy, rollout decks and sell-in tools for milestone meetings
§ Actively participate in the cross-functional creation process for milestone meetings such as brief handover, prototype review, costing review, sample confirmation, Brand Acceleration meetings
Communication
· Effectively coordinate and communicate with cross functional team members, IE Design, Development, Marketing, Operating Partners and US Sales team
o Convey messages verbally and/or visually in a clear, concise, and accurate manner during meetings, telephone / video conferences such that interpretation is consistent and accurate, and need for clarification is minimal
o Receive and give feedback in a positive, constructive manner
· Lead the communication of product updates and strategies to US and International partners in a timely and appropriate manner
· Comfortable and willingness to present during product presentations to internal organization as well as external accounts
Industry, Market, and Consumer Acumen
- Use relevant and appropriate resources to accurately determine, anticipate, and validate current and future trends, competition, retail landscape, and cultural drivers
Financial Aptitude
- Analyze net forecasting data to assess line size and efficiencies
- Analyze buying volume reports to determine areas of the business to invest in and drive volume/net sales.
Planning and Organization
- Work independently and perform a variety of tasks with different levels of complexity
- Ability to quickly pivot and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Think and act in a goal-oriented manner, prioritize, and complete tasks in order of importance
- Meet calendar deadlines and deliverable
- Respond to changing deadlines and deliverables adeptly and with resourcefulness
Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience)
College degree, preferably in marketing/business
Understanding of the footwear industry
2+ years’ experience in product management, sales, merchandising, development, or marketing.
High functioning knowledge Microsoft Office; especially Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work within a cross functional team environment.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to take direction and work independently and in team environment.
Adaptable and willing to learn
Willingness to put in extra time when needed to meet key deadlines
Some travel will be required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
