Role summary

GeBBS Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a hybrid role onsite in Reston, VA, supporting a Blue Cross Blue Shield client. The primary focus will be on expanding their portfolio of Gen AI and Machine Learning products. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing code to build production-level AI solutions and models. The role requires 5+ years of Data Science experience with a strong emphasis on production code implementation and optimization, not just POCs. Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architecture, Generative AI, and AWS services like Bedrock, Sagemaker, Kendra, or Lambda is essential. Prior experience in the healthcare or financial industry is also required.

We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). We are currently hiring a Senior Data Scientist

Summary: One of our Blue Cross Blue Shield clients is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support the expansion of their portfolio of Gen AI and Machine Learning products. The hired resource will design, implement, and optimize code and build production-level AI solutions/models for BCBSA and other BCBS plans.

Requirement

  • 5+ years of Data Science experience with experience on implementing and optimizing codes (not just creating proof of concepts (POCs) or research.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architecture, and Generative AI
  • Experience with any AWS services such as Bedrock, Sagemaker, Kendra or Lambda
  • Healthcare or financial industry experience

Location: Hybrid, onsite in Reston, VA, once a month
