Role summary

GeBBS Consulting is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a hybrid role, with one day onsite per week in Reston, VA. The engineer will support a Blue Cross Blue Shield client by automating the provisioning of AWS cloud infrastructure for an EKS workload migration and building new tech stacks on AWS. This role requires 5+ years of experience in automated AWS infrastructure provisioning and 2+ years of experience with AWS EKS and other AWS services like EC2, S3, MongoDB, Sagemaker, Bedrock, Eventbridge, Lambda, and API Gateway. An active AWS certification is also required.

GeBBS Consulting is a healthcare technology professional services and consulting firm based in Towson, Maryland servicing clients throughout the US. We are celebrating our 28th year in business. We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). GeBBS Consulting has over two decades of experience supporting healthcare clients throughout the US.

We are currently hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer

Summary: One of our Blue Cross Blue Shield clients is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the automated provisioning of AWS cloud infrastructure for an EKS workload migration and building of new tech stacks on AWS.

Requirement

  • 5+ years of experience in automated infrastructure provisioning in AWS cloud
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS EKS and any other AWS services (EC2, S3, MongoDB, Sagemaker, Bedrock, Eventbridge, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
  • Any active AWS certification

Location: Hybrid, one day a week onsite in Reston, VA.
